Ariane Lallemand has given solo performances with numerous orchestras,
which include the French American Orchestra of New York, the Jupiter Symphony
of New York, the Nevers Philharmonic and the La Follia Chamber Orchestra,
under the batons of such conductors as Gunther Schuller and Jens Nygard.
As a recitalist, she has performed in Merkin Hall, Steinway Hall and CAMI
Hall in New York, as well as on the recital series of the Cathedral of
St. John the Divine, L'Eglise Penitents in France, the Kaufhaussaal series
in Germany and the Young Artist Showcase of WQXR-FM New York.
She has been a prizewinner in the Epernay Cello Competition, the Cologne
Sonata Competition and the Five Towns Competition of New York. She has
also won the UFAM competition in Paris, the Mendelssohn Competition, the
Special Award at the Epernay Competition, the "Bourse Lavoisier" from
the French Ministry of Culture and the Mannes Concerto Competition, from
which her performance of the Elgar Concerto was broadcast on WQXR in New
